Sometime during the beginning of 2016, I erased my beloved blog. I deleted my posts and gave up my domain. Life was getting in the way, I said. Times had been tough since late 2015 and I was finding it more and more difficult to maintain a regular blog under the circumstances. The situation persisted and worsened through 2016 and parts of 2017. It was a time that taught me a lot about myself as a person and I hope to talk about it someday, but today is not that day.
I had a lot of love and support from friends and family during this time and I began to realise that when I said, Life got in the way – what I really meant was, Stress. I was equating Stress with Life. I was letting STRESS get in the way of my LIFE.
I wanted to write this today because I removed my blog suddenly. I got emails from people I did not even know read my blog – strangers as well as fellow bloggers – and I know I owed them an explanation, even if it is two years later.
Thank you to those who used to follow and read the old Peanuts on the Road and thank you in advance to those who will read the new version.
